expected to create value by improving speed to market and reduce delays. This is
a great initiative by Indian Customs. DPD will strengthen India’s position in global
business needs. We expect direct port delivery initiative will reduce dwell time

Direct Port Delivery is among the major initiatives by the Customs Department to
ease the business process. It serves the govt. thrust on reducing clearance time and
being cost effective for the importers. We appreciate this initiative and are privileged
to be a catalyst partner in making it a success. We are sure that DPD would enhance
India’s ranking on international level towards Ease of Doing Business.
