The Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) contains provisions for expediting the
movement, release and clearance of goods, including goods in transit. These

Port Delivery (DPD) is one of important step taken so that shipment arriving at JNPT
will be cleared directly from port saving time and cost for Importer. DPD facility is now
made available to 700+ importers and will also help even Medium and small importers.
Focus by Chief Commissioner and coordinated efforts by Port and terminals is going to
change the image of JNPT.
